Wingecarribee Shire Council

The Southern Highlands is home to an estimated 3,000 – 4,000 koalas. Unfortunately, due to vehicle strikes, bushfires, and loss of habitat, numbers have declined. Wingecarribbee Shire Council’s ‘Southern Highlands Koala Conservation Project’ has been working hard to monitor and protect the region’s koala population.

WISDOM was tasked to create a Koala Marketing Toolkit to communicate various conservation and awareness messages to the locals and visitors to the region. The result was ‘Koala Zone’ brand and marketing campaign that included a downloadable VCard featuring various important contact details for people to use when they spot a koala in the wild. This is featured on posters, brochures, social media graphics, bumper stickers and billboards.
