When WISDOM was approached by Weddin Shire Council to conduct a brand strategy for tourism, they were using the township name of ‘Grenfell’ for their broader region. After facilitating several community workshops and market research, the name ‘Weddin Mountains Region’ became a clear favourite for the community and an accurate reflection of the region.
With the key messaging of Stop, Reset, Listen and Wander, a tagline of ‘Wander Weddin’ was established. WISDOM developed a logo and brand that showcased the regional assets of the country landscape, canola and wildflowers, plains and farmland, unique birdlife, history and heritage, and of course the Weddin Mountains.
