Shellharbour – Get around it!

Find it, Snap it, Tag it… Win it!

This campaign has it all! Microsite, giphys, instagram filter, snapchat geofilter, plus a host of integrated marketing assets to engage with the residents of Shellharbour.

Objectives here were to educate locals on the experiences in their own backyard. On one hand to support local businesses in the Covid-19 rebound, but also to help them become better hosts to the Visiting Friends & Relatives (VFR) market. It’s also a campaign to instill local pride and to celebrate the region in a positive and interactive way.

Wisdom developed a Shellharbour graphic especially for the project which can now be seen on tote bags, stickers and t-shirts, and has been embraced by the local community. The spiral shape is based on the nautilus shell, a symbol synonymous with the region, and is a theme that runs right throughout the campaign and reflected in the tagline, “get around it”.

The microsite was crafted to capitalise on the web traffic by promoting a fun competition, local deals, local ambassadors and inspiration for how to have a great time in Shellharbour.
